Report Illegal Content

Notice under Article 16 of the EU Digital Services Act (DSA)

1. About this form

Use this form to submit a notice of allegedly illegal content hosted on SceneSmith. This channel is open to anyone (you do not need an account). Notices that include all of the information required by Article 16 of the DSA give us "actual knowledge" of the content and trigger our review obligations.

If your concern is about copyright specifically, you may also use our standard Content Rights & Licensing process. For non-illegal community-guideline issues (spam, harassment inside a project, etc.) please use the in-app "Report" button instead.

2. Point of contact

Our DSA point of contact is legal@scenesmith.ai. You may also email this address directly if you cannot use the web form, or if your notice contains attachments.

(TBD — confirm the dedicated DSA point-of-contact address with legal before public launch.)

3. Submit a notice

All fields marked with are required. We will acknowledge receipt by email and notify you of the outcome of our review without undue delay.

A URL is best. If you only have an internal identifier (project ID, shot ID, comment ID), paste that and we will resolve it.

Cite the law, regulation, or right that you believe the content violates.

We will acknowledge receipt at the email you provide.

4. What happens next

  • We review every Article 16 notice promptly and in a non-arbitrary manner.
  • Where appropriate we restrict, remove, or disable access to the reported content and notify both the reporter and the affected user.
  • We log every notice and decision so we can publish DSA transparency reports.
  • Bad-faith or repeated abusive notices may result in temporary suspension of your ability to file further notices, in line with DSA Article 23.
